Frontiers Abroad teams with numerous US and New Zealand organizations to provide our unique study abroad experience.

School of Record: Lafayette College

Frontiers Abroad Programmes are endorsed by Lafayette College who serve as our US school of record. All students completing our programmes receive a Lafayette Transcript.

NZ Universities

Frontiers Abroad students study at the University of Canterbury (Geology Program) and the University of Auckland (Earth Systems Program). Based in the two largest cities in New Zealand, these universities are consistently ranked highest in New Zealand for academic and institutional performance. Both schools have well earned reputations for their commitment to world leading research and the development of Centres of Excellence and Research for the Sciences.

The University of Canterbury and Auckland welcome international students and provide excellent facilities for accommodation and student services.

Frontiers Abroad chooses to partner with the University of Canterbury and Auckland because of the complete and high level package that these universities can offer students on Frontiers Abroad programs. Whether it is academic pursuit, or student life on and off campus, these schools offer a quality and balance that reflects Frontiers Abroad high standards.

Geology
Students will travel throughout the North and South Islands, deciphering the geologic evolution of New Zealand from a series of dedicated and linked field modules. Following field camp students spend a semester at the University of Canterbury.
