Earth Systems Research: Tarawera Watershed Programme

The Earth System's research projects are part of an ongoing research effort in the Tarawera watershed in the Bay of Plenty, NZ. Working with a local Ewi (Maori Tribe) students collect data to characterize one of two issues: Environmental and natrual hazards in Tarawera watershed, Natural hazards, and Maori perceptions of restoration and environmental hazards.
